Nottingham Forest star reveals he is 100% fit amid injury fears

Orel Mangala of Nottingham Forest has stated that he is not hurt and is fully healthy for Belgium’s upcoming international break.

The midfielder was speaking after training with his country today, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.

Mangala, who has established himself as a crucial player under current boss Domenico Tedesco, is expected to play in both of Belgium’s games during this international break.

There had been speculation that he may miss out after being replaced with seven minutes remaining in Nottingham Forest’s recent 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.

The fear was that he had sustained an injury, but that did not appear to be the case when he traveled to Belgium this week.
He’s been questioned about his status, and he says that his recent substitute was not due to a significant injury.

β€œI am 100% fit,” he said.

β€œI left the field last weekend due to cramps. Not due to an injury.”

All eyes will now be on Mangala over the international break to see if he can survive it uninjured.

We’re confident that if Steve Cooper and Nottingham Forest had their say, the midfielder, who has been a vital player for them this season, would not have travelled.

He has, however, and the hope is that his cramp against Crystal Palace was not the start of something more catastrophic.
