JUST IN: Francisco Lindor Sends “Unusual Response” To Wife’s Personal Announcement

Francisco Lindor and the New York Mets were among the most disappointing clubs in the MLB this season. They concluded the year with an 83-79 record, falling 13 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL East and missing the playoffs despite spending more than $342 million on the team this season alone.

Lindor, 31, was a bright spot this season, earning his seventh All-Star selection while also hitting.267 with 31 home runs, 86 RBIs, and 31 stolen bases. However, the talented shortstop wasn’t the only member of his family to win over Mets fans this season; his wife, Katia, impressed with her violin skills.

She sang the national anthem before the team’s game against the San Diego Padres on September 16, the same night that her husband was announced as the nominee for the Roberto Clemente Award.

Katia’s violinist skill set has also helped her create waves in the music world, as it was recently announced that she would get the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall.

“✨ From performing the National Anthem at @citifield to now taking the stage at @carnegiehall, we’re proud to announce that violinist Katia Reguero Lindor will join Bernie Williams, Jonathan Tetelman, Jose Reyes and Stephon Marbury on January 13, 2026 for a truly once-in-a-lifetime concert,” said AllStar Encore on Instagram.

According to the post, Lindor will play with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra as well as New York Yankees icon and Grammy-nominated singer Bernie Williams.

“This concert celebrates the intersection of arts and athletics in a night of music, storytelling, and New York Pride,” Carnegie Hall’s spokesperson said.

As predicted, her MLB star hubby congratulated her on Instagram.

“Proud of my wife,” Lindor wrote. “Make sure you buy tickets to see all of these amazing musicians.”

The MLB player married his wife in 2021, and the couple has three children together.

The Lindor children may have some of the world’s most accomplished parents, with their father’s baseball skills and their mother’s musical ability.
