Florida Gators wide receiver will miss the rest of his freshman season after sustaining a foot injury during 24-20 loss to No. 5 Georgia, per On3’s Pete Nakos.
Top went down late in the first half following a hard hit that resulted in a targeting penalty and the ejection of Georgia safety KJ Bolden. He returned to the sidelines after halftime wearing a boot on his right foot and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game.
This is Wilson’s second foot injury of the season, as he previously missed the first month of play due to one suffered in fall camp. The Tampa Bay native appeared in four games, totaling 12 receptions for 174 yards and three touchdowns.

A four-star recruit and the No. 41 overall prospect in the 2025 class, Wilson made an immediate impact in his debut on Oct. 4 against Texas, recording six catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-21 win.

His absence will be a major blow for Florida, which will now have to finish the season without one of its most promising young playmakers. The Gators’ final stretch includes two tough road matchups against Kentucky and No. 7 Ole Miss.
