HUGE BOOST!! Auburn Tigers Officially Complete Quarterback Room With Another Stunning Top Talented Star From Transfer Portal

When Alex Golesh took over as Auburn’s head coach, one of his first major responsibilities was overhauling the Tigers’ quarterback room. Jackson Arnold, Ashton Daniels, and Deuce Knight all entered the transfer portal and have since committed to other programs.

Landing former USF quarterback quickly became Golesh’s top priority, and Brown officially signed with Auburn after visiting campus last weekend. His commitment followed the addition of another former USF signal-caller, Locklan Hewitt, while three-star quarterback Rhys Brush joined the program as part of Auburn’s 2026 recruiting class.

Golesh and his staff put the finishing touches on the revamped quarterback group over the weekend with the commitment of former Oregon State quarterback Tristan Ti’a, who is expected to serve as Brown’s backup. Ti’a redshirted the 2025 season but appeared in three games late in the year for the Beavers, throwing for 385 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

Ti’a was part of Oregon State’s 2025 recruiting class and ranked as the No. 21 quarterback nationally. A native of Amador Valley, California, he will arrive on the Plains with all four years of eligibility remaining.

Under the NCAA’s updated transfer portal rules, all athletes—including graduate transfers—are limited to a single transfer window running from Jan. 2 to Jan. 16. Ti’a becomes the 16th transfer portal addition for Auburn so far.
