BREAKING: New Weapon Incoming, Kentucky Are Landing Commitment From ‘Powerful’ Offensive Star

Kentucky continues to emphasize locking down top in-state talent, and that focus is paying early dividends in the 2027 recruiting cycle. One of the Wildcats’ top priorities, interior offensive lineman Brady Hull, came away impressed after spending Saturday in Lexington for Junior Day. The visit further strengthened an already growing bond between Hull and the new Kentucky coaching staff, positioning the Wildcats as a serious contender moving forward.

Kentucky football is pushing hard for Hull, a 6-foot-1, 285-pound standout from Pulaski County who has quickly emerged as one of the premier prospects in the state. Hull is currently ranked as the No. 9 overall recruit in Kentucky for the Class of 2027, making him a key target for a program intent on building its foundation early.

Following his Junior Day visit, momentum appears to be trending in Kentucky’s favor. On3 national recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong logged a 60 RPM in favor of the Wildcats, signaling a 60 percent confidence level that Hull will ultimately commit to Kentucky. That confidence reflects the steady relationship-building that has taken place behind the scenes.

New head coach Will Stein has been especially active in establishing that connection. In December, Stein sent Hull a personalized video message that made a strong impression and was later shared publicly by the recruit.

“You know the best Christmas gift for me is gonna be getting Kentucky football back to where it needs to be,” Stein said in the video. “And it takes people like you in the state of Kentucky to stay home and get this thing rolling.”

That message resonated even more during Hull’s recent visit, where he had extended time with Stein and the revamped staff while gaining insight into the program’s long-term vision.

Despite Kentucky’s positive momentum, the recruitment remains open. Hull has upcoming visits planned to Tennessee, South Carolina, and Auburn, all of which could influence his decision. For now, though, the Wildcats have positioned themselves well by making a strong impression and reinforcing their desire to keep one of Kentucky’s best prospects close to home.
