BREAKING: Auburn Adds Top 4-star Elite QB Ahead Of Rival Programs

A new chapter has begun for the Auburn Tigers. After stumbling to a 4–5 start, the program parted ways with head coach Hugh Freeze, prompting a significant reset. Auburn moved quickly in the offseason, hiring Alex Golesh to replace interim head coach D.J. Durkin. Golesh arrives on the Plains after three seasons at USF, where he compiled a 23–15 record and helped stabilize the Bulls.

As Auburn searches for its first winning season since 2019, Golesh and his staff are attacking the rebuild from multiple angles, with recruiting playing a major role. The Tigers currently have just one pledge in the 2027 class — unranked tight end Tank Proctor — but that number is expected to grow as the staff ramps up its efforts on the trail.

Adams put together a monster junior season at Antioch High School, completing 174 of 245 passes for 3,418 yards and 35 touchdowns, while throwing just one interception and posting a 151.2 passer rating. He also showcased his athleticism as a runner, adding 855 rushing yards and 13 scores on the ground.

Auburn has already made a strong early impression, hosting Adams for two unofficial visits, including a recent trip on Jan. 31. Speaking with Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong, the talented quarterback spoke highly of what he experienced in Auburn.

“One of my biggest takeaways is that if I go there, I’ll be taken care of,” Adams said. “I’m excited about where the program is headed and the chance to be part of something like that if that’s the path I choose.”
