The Missouri men’s basketball team strengthened its roster on by officially signing one of the top-50 players in the transfer portal and a proven interior presence.

Tiller’s move is historic, as he becomes the first player to transfer directly between the Border War rivals after spending his freshman season at Kansas. He started 31 games and quickly established himself as one of the nation’s most productive rookie forwards. During the 2025–26 season, Tiller was one of only four freshmen nationwide to total at least 250 points, 200 rebounds, and 40 blocks.

His impact has been widely recognized, with national outlets ranking him among the top transfers in the country. Missouri head coach Dennis Gates praised Tiller’s combination of size, skill, and versatility, noting his ability to score, pass, handle the ball, rebound at a high rate, and protect the rim on defense.

As a freshman, Tiller averaged 7.9 points and 6.1 rebounds while recording 45 blocks and 35 assists across 35 games. He delivered several standout performances, including an 18-point, eight-rebound effort in a major upset of top-ranked Arizona and a season-high 21 points in a win over BYU. He reached double figures in scoring 13 times and posted four games with double-digit rebounds.

A 6-foot-11 forward from Atlanta, Georgia, Tiller entered college as a five-star recruit and one of the top prospects in the nation. He also earned All-OTE Second Team honors in 2024 after averaging 12.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks.

Along with a top-four freshman recruiting class, he bolsters a program coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and consecutive double-digit SEC win seasons for the first time since joining the conference in 2012.
