The Kentucky Wildcats are still working to complete their roster for the 2026–27 season, with three scholarship spots remaining. A new name entered the conversation. According to reports, Kentucky has been in contact with the agent of top prospect, who most recently played for Mega Superbet.

Drezgic previously spent the 2024–25 season at Georgia and is now looking to return to college basketball following a strong year overseas. Thanks to his SEC background and his recent production, he is expected to attract interest from multiple programs.

How serious Kentucky is about this pursuit remains unclear, but the outreach suggests the staff is actively searching for another capable ball-handler to bolster the backcourt.

During his lone season at Georgia, Drezgic averaged 2.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in limited minutes. His role and production grew significantly this past season with Mega Superbet, where he averaged 16.5 points per game while shooting 41.6 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from three, along with 4.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.

For now, it’s a developing situation to monitor as Mark Pope continues working to finalize Kentucky’s roster.
