The Atlanta Braves are preparing for a pivotal four-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies this weekend, with the matchup extending into Monday.

According to the Gwinnett Stripers’ transaction tracker, Clohisy was placed on the seven-day injured list on September 4, putting the remainder of his season in doubt.

Clohisy has been with Triple-A Gwinnett since mid-July after earning a promotion from Double-A.

The 24-year-old has appeared in 38 games for the Stripers, producing an outstanding .358 batting average along with three home runs, one triple and nine doubles.

Across 108 games at all levels this season, Clohisy is hitting .294 with a strong .842 OPS. His performances have helped him climb the Braves’ prospect rankings and establish himself as an intriguing name within the organization.

Atlanta selected Clohisy in the 11th round of the 2024 MLB Draft, and he has quickly progressed through the minor-league system.

Over three seasons in the minors, he has recorded 17 home runs, 55 doubles and eight triples across 265 games.

Clohisy Emerging as a Notable Braves Prospect

Clohisy currently ranks as the No. 16 prospect in the Braves organization.

His biggest weapon is his speed, which has played a major role in his development. During the 2025 regular season and Arizona Fall League combined, he stole 101 bases in 120 attempts, giving him an impressive 84.2 percent success rate.

That speed also makes him a valuable defensive option. Clohisy has the range to handle center field while also possessing the versatility to play anywhere across the outfield.

He has accumulated 142 stolen bases during his minor-league career, further highlighting the impact his speed can have on the bases.

If he continues developing at his current pace, Clohisy could become a potential option for the Braves in 2027 should the club require additional outfield depth.

However, with the minor-league season nearing its conclusion, the recent injury could potentially bring his 2026 campaign to an early end.
