Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are heading into the 2025 NFL season with one clear mission: win a championship. They’ve been close in recent years, including a near miss last season when they came up just short of a Super Bowl berth. To finally get over the hump, Buffalo still has a few roster holes to address—chief among them, adding another top-tier weapon for Allen.
Although the Bills didn’t land a marquee wide receiver in free agency, they’ll have a prime opportunity to do so in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. With the No. 30 overall pick, Buffalo could snag a key offensive playmaker. That’s exactly what CBS Sports analyst Jeff Kerr projects in his latest mock draft, predicting the Bills will select Ohio State wide receiver.
“The Bills need more playmakers for Josh Allen and find one in top star,” Kerr wrote. “Why not take a wideout from a school that churns out NFL-ready talent at the position? he could be in the Rookie of the Year conversation with Allen throwing to him.”

Egbuka was a standout performer during the 2024 college football season, helping Ohio State win the national title with 81 catches, 1,011 yards, and 10 touchdowns. At 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, he’s considered ready to contribute immediately at the NFL level and has drawn comparisons to Lions star Amon-Ra St. Brown.
With the 2025 NFL Draft set to begin on April 24, fans won’t have to wait long to see if the Bills do in fact use their first-round pick on a potential game-changing receiver for Allen.
