Georgia running back is reportedly set to enter the transfer portal this spring, per a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Veteran star once a highly touted 4-star recruit, has faced multiple injury setbacks during his time in Athens, limiting his opportunities to make a consistent impact. He officially revealed his intention to transfer on Wednesday morning. Want a deeper look at what this means for Georgia’s running back room or where Robinson might land next?
A once-promising Georgia running back, is entering the transfer portal this spring, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Robinson was one of the top running back prospects in the 2022 recruiting class, ranked No. 4 nationally at his position by the 247Sports Composite. He showed early flashes of his potential as a true freshman on Georgia’s 2022 national championship team, rushing for 330 yards. However, his career in Athens was derailed by injuries.
He missed the entire 2023 season after suffering a ruptured patellar tendon, and was limited to just 25 carries in 2024, never fully returning to form. While his talent is unquestioned when healthy, staying on the field has been a major hurdle.

With Robinson moving on, Georgia now has a greater need to add depth to its backfield, particularly someone who can push Nate Frazier for playing time. The spring transfer portal window officially opened Wednesday, giving UGA the opportunity to pursue a replacement. Robinson will have two years of eligibility remaining wherever he lands next.
