The Duke Blue Devils, led by head coach Jon Scheyer, are coming off an impressive 35-4 season that ended with a trip to the Final Four. Duke’s tournament run included wins over Mount St. Mary’s, Baylor, Arizona, and Alabama before falling to Houston in San Antonio.
Following the season, the Blue Devils lost a wave of talent to the 2025 NBA Draft. Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Tyrese Proctor, and Khaman Maluach all declared, leaving significant gaps for Scheyer and his staff to address as they aim to return to Final Four form.
Duke took a major step toward reloading the roster by making a move on five-star prospect. Originally, 247Sports reporter Dushawn London reported that Duke planned to visit top star at his high school. However, the visit has since been rescheduled.
A 6-foot-8 forward, is ranked as the No. 1 power forward and No. 5 overall player in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. He has also drawn interest from programs such as Alabama, Arizona State, Arizona, California, and Georgia Tech.
Before Christian Collins makes his college basketball decision, head coach Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils will first welcome an impressive incoming class from the 2025 cycle.
Duke has three blue-chip prospects already committed for next season: five-star forward Cameron Boozer, five-star forward Nikolas Khamenia, and four-star guard Cayden Boozer. This group is expected to keep the Blue Devils highly competitive as they reload following their Final Four run.

With a strong foundation already in place, adding a player like Collins from the 2026 class would ensure that Duke remains a national powerhouse for years to come.
