BREAKING: Ravens Confirms Big roster moves immediately after 2025 NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft has officially wrapped up, but the Baltimore Ravens aren’t done yet. After making 11 picks over the course of three days—enough to form a new expansion team—General Manager Eric DeCosta and the front office immediately shifted focus to undrafted free agency.

It’s hard to fathom why the Ravens would need more players after adding so many rookies, but this is Baltimore, where the undrafted free agent process is taken more seriously than anywhere else. Year after year, the Ravens have a knack for uncovering hidden gems.

Baltimore’s track record with undrafted free agents is second to none. From Priest Holmes to Gus Edwards to Patrick Ricard, and even Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr, the Ravens have built a reputation for finding overlooked talent and turning it into meaningful contributions. This ability is one of the main reasons their roster remains one of the deepest in the league.

With a few lingering depth concerns, particularly along the defensive line, the Ravens wasted no time after the draft, quickly making calls to secure their first group of undrafted rookies.

Ravens running list of UDFA signings after 2025 NFL Draft

Here’s a list of the undrafted free agents signed by the Baltimore Ravens this year:

  • Jayson Jones (DL, Auburn)
  • Desmond Igbinosun (DB, Rutgers)
  • Jay Higgins (LB, Iowa)
  • Jahmal Banks (WR, Nebraska)
  • Reid Holskey (OT, Miami (Ohio))
  • Sone Ntoh (RB, Monmouth)
  • Nash Hutmacher (DL, Nebraska)
  • Chandler Martin (LB, Memphis)
  • Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan (OL, Oregon State)
  • Ozzie Hutchinson (OL, Albany)
  • Sam Pitz (TE, Minnesota-Duluth)
  • Keondre Jackson (DB, Illinois State)
  • Xavier Guillory (WR, Arizona State)
  • Diwun Black (Edge, Temple)
  • Marquise Robinson (CB, Arkansas)
  • Marcus Major Jr. (RB, Minnesota)
  • Isaac Bunyun (OL, Maryland)
  • Jared Penning (OL, Northern Iowa)

One standout on the list is Jay Higgins from Iowa. After a strong 2024 season, highlighted by four interceptions, Higgins earned All-American honors. He’s recorded 295 tackles and nine passes defensed over the last two years, showcasing solid run and pass defense abilities. While he’s undersized, linebacker is one position where the Ravens could use depth.

Another intriguing name is Desmond Igbinosun from Rutgers. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 213 pounds, Igbinosun started eight games last season and tallied 53 tackles. Although he isn’t flashy, he’s a reliable, experienced player with a football background—his younger brother is a standout corner at Ohio State. The Ravens love physical, smart defensive backs who can contribute on special teams, and Igbinosun could secure a spot that way.

Then there’s Sone Ntoh, the powerful running back from Monmouth. After leading the FCS with 25 rushing touchdowns last year, Ntoh, standing 5-foot-11 and 235 pounds, is known for his downhill, physical running style. Although raw, he could fit into Baltimore’s tradition of developing power backs into key contributors. With Derrick Henry on a short-term deal, Ntoh might find his role growing down the road.

Keep an eye on Jared Penning too, as his older brother, Trevor Penning, was a first-round pick for the Saints. Jared has experience playing both inside and outside on the offensive line, which mirrors the versatility of former Raven Patrick Mekari.

The Ravens aren’t done adding depth and finding diamonds in the rough. We’ll continue to update the UDFA signings as more details come in.
