As the 2025–26 season approaches, Auburn basketball is undergoing a massive overhaul. Following a historic campaign that saw the Tigers reach their second Final Four in six years, the roster is set for a near-total reset due to player departures from graduation and transfers. The only potential returnee is freshman Tahaad Pettiford, who has entered the NBA Draft while keeping his college eligibility intact.
Head coach Bruce Pearl and his staff anticipated the turnover and stayed aggressive on the recruiting front—even during the team’s deep tournament run. Just before facing Florida in San Antonio, Auburn secured a major addition from the portal.
Keyshawn Hall, a standout guard from UCF, became the first transfer commitment for the Tigers and is expected to be a key contributor.
“Keyshawn was one of the most impactful players in the portal,” Pearl told Auburn Live. “He led the Big 12 in scoring and is a proven shot-maker. He’s a tough one-on-one matchup who brings versatility on both ends. His drive to finish his college career with a championship really stood out.”

Hall led the Big 12 last season with 18.8 points per game, adding 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting 42.7% from the floor, 35.4% from three, and 84.4% from the free-throw line. He started all 33 games and earned second-team All-Big 12 honors.
