Committed!! Duke’s Jon Scheyer Gets Major Recruiting News on Four-Star Recruit

Duke heads into the offseason following an impressive 35-4 (19-1 ACC) season that ended with a Final Four appearance under fourth-year head coach Jon Scheyer.

Despite losing all five starters from last year’s squad, the Blue Devils remain in the mix for the 2025–26 season thanks to a highly ranked 2025 recruiting class.

Four-star power forward Sebastian Wilkins from Brewster Academy—ranked No. 17 in ESPN’s Top 100 for 2026—will make his official visit to Duke on Monday, according to Sam Kayser of 247Sports. He has already visited Maryland and Texas A&M and is also considering offers from programs such as Alabama, Florida State, Iowa, and Boston College.

During the 2023–24 season, Wilkins averaged 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.4 blocks in 22.5 minutes per game over 34 contests for Brewster Academy’s national team, per MaxPreps. The 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward also captured MVP honors in Brewster’s win over Oak Hill Academy with a standout 22-point, 8-rebound performance in January.

Wilkins is ranked as the top overall recruit in New Hampshire and the No. 7 power forward nationally by 247Sports.

Duke, which captured both the ACC regular season and tournament titles last season, entered the NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 seed in the East Region. The Blue Devils advanced to the Final Four after knocking off Mount St. Mary’s, Baylor, Arizona, and Alabama, before falling to Houston.

With top freshmen Cooper Flagg, Khaman Maluach, and Kon Knueppel all declaring for the NBA Draft, Wilkins’ upcoming visit represents a key moment in Duke’s efforts to reload for another championship push.
