The Arizona Cardinals announced today that they have signed linebacker and released linebacker Milo Eifler. The transaction took place at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.

Top star (6-1, 225) comes to Arizona after spending the past three seasons (2022–24) with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis in 2022. Over 30 regular-season games with Tampa Bay—including four starts—he recorded 36 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, and two passes defensed. On special teams, he added 13 tackles and recovered a fumble.

In 2024, he posted career bests in games played (16), starts (3), total tackles (25), and passes defensed (2). He also logged a personal high of eight special teams tackles and notched his first fumble recovery. He made his postseason debut in the Buccaneers’ Wild Card game, contributing two tackles on defense and one on special teams.

Russell will wear jersey number 51 in Arizona. With several off-ball linebackers already added this offseason, Russell faces stiff competition for a roster spot, but his experience could give him an edge as a potential contributor during training camp.
