BIG UPDATE: Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen Had a Surprise Wedding Guest No One Expected

Over the weekend, after much anticipation, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen married his fiancée, actress Hailee Steinfeld. The couple exchanged vows on Saturday, May 31, in Southern California. Allen had proposed back in November during the Bills’ bye week, choosing a scenic cliffside spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

In the lead-up to the event, Allen and Steinfeld kept wedding plans under wraps, clearly aiming for a private, low-profile ceremony. For the most part, they succeeded—until Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins unintentionally revealed the wedding date, alerting the media to the May 31 celebration.

As a result, a few details about the wedding have emerged, including the appearance of an unexpected guest.

An Interesting Wedding Guest for Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld

The guest list for Allen and Steinfeld’s wedding is quite intriguing, with a few unexpected names making an appearance.

One of the most surprising attendees was Larry David—the actor, writer, and comedian known for his decades-long career in entertainment. He gained prominence as a producer of Seinfeld and later as the star of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
“Seeing Larry David at Josh and Hailee’s wedding was a total shock, but I’m here for it,” one user commented on X.

Naturally, the guest list featured a few familiar faces from the football world as well, including quarterback Mitch Trubisky, tight end Dawson Knox, and offensive tackle Spencer Brown, based on photos shared on X.

Allen and Steinfeld began dating in 2023 but kept things low-key for about a year. Last season, Steinfeld was frequently seen cheering Allen on at Bills home games.

In a February 2025 interview with Who What Wear, Steinfeld reflected on Allen’s heartfelt proposal, describing it as truly “magical.”

She also mentioned that Allen somehow made sure she was dressed appropriately for the special moment. “I’m so thankful he planned it the way he did,” she said, “because I looked good, and now we have these photos we’ll treasure forever—ones I won’t be looking at thinking, ‘What was I wearing?’”

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane also spoke about the couple during a May 6 appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, sharing warm sentiments. He praised how well Steinfeld has connected with the Bills’ extended community.

“Let me tell you, Rich, she is incredibly humble,” Beane said. “She’s really engaged with our local women—wives and girlfriends of the players—and I’ve heard from my wife and many others just how grounded she is, despite all her success.”

Beane added that Steinfeld fits right in with the Bills’ culture, saying, “It really speaks to who she is—and to Josh as well. He’s exactly the same way.”
