Ardon Jashari is attempting to push a move to AC Milan from Club Brugge, and there was some big news on Friday.
With Luka Modric all but confirmed, Samuele Ricci should be the next midfielder to come through the door. According to multiple reports, Milan is on the verge of signing a €22 million contract with Torino, plus €3 million in bonuses, and it is only a matter of time before they do.
However, Modric and Ricci will not be enough to complete the department, and, following fresh talk regarding Granit Xhaka earlier today, there is now a significant update on the Jashari front as well.
Jashari wants Milan move
We begin with an update from Matteo Moretto on his X account, which states: “Ardon Jashari has informed Club Brugge that his desire is to go to Milan.”
His colleague Fabrizio Romano adds: “Ardon Jashari has told Club Brugge of his wish to join AC Milan, with two approaches already rejected. There has been no club-to-club agreement yet because Club Brugge wants more than €27 million plus €5 million for their last bid.”
Sacha Tavolieri of Sky Switzerland has also reported that Igli Tare is heading to Belgium today to meet with Club Brugge authorities about Ardon Jashari. Tare is due to attend a conference in Brussels this evening in attempt to reach an agreement for approximately €35 million plus bonus. “Jashari wants to play for Milan.”
It remains to be seen whether the player submitting a transfer request would soften or tighten Brugge’s negotiation position, but it appears that this transfer tale is following in the footsteps of Charles De Ketelaere’s.
