Breaking: Official done deal!! Player travelling today for Sunderland medical after Black Cats reach full agreement

Three days after securing Noah Sadiki from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, Sunderland have dipped into the Belgian market once again—this time for Club Brugge winger Chemsdine Talbi.

According to Belgian journalist Tomas Taecke of Het Laatste Nieuws, the Black Cats are closing in on finalizing the transfer of the 20-year-old, with both clubs having reached a full agreement. Taecke reported via X (formerly Twitter) that the final details were ironed out late Sunday, and the deal is expected to exceed €20 million, including bonuses.

Talbi is now set to complete his medical and sign his contract to officially join Sunderland.

Last season, Talbi made 44 appearances for Club Brugge, contributing seven goals and five assists.
