BREAKING NEWS: SEATTLE MARINERS RECEIVE MAJOR INJURY UPDATES ON SEVERELY INJURED PLAYERS

The Seattle Mariners are 60-53 and in danger of missing out on a postseason berth. 2025 has been a great year so far, as they are now tied with the New York Yankees for the second AL Wild Card slot and second in the AL West.

The Mariners got additional positive news on Tuesday after acquiring corner infielders Eugenio Suarez and Josh Naylor during the trade deadline. Seattle received injury reports on outfielders Victor Robles and Luke Raley, as well as starting pitcher Bryce Miller, according to team beat reporter Ryan Divish on X (previously Twitter).

Divish wrote on Tuesday that “GM Justin Hollander stated he anticipates Bryce Miller to make another rehab assignment following Thursday’s outing.”

Restoring this trio would undoubtedly improve the Mariners’ chances of making the playoffs. The organization could move Logan Evans back to Triple-A or to the bullpen if Miller were to return to the rotation. Additionally, the team’s pitching depth would grow, which would be very helpful come October.

In the meanwhile, Robles and Raley would return to a lineup that needed their assistance. Even if Seattle’s offense has improved this season, it’s always a good idea to add a few more bats to assist the team reach its goals.

Trio of returns should help Mariners playoff push

The Mariners have held their own while Miller, Raley, and Robles have been absent. Since the All-Star Break, the team’s performance has fluctuated somewhat, but it has been strong enough to keep them in the standings. Seattle is coming off a series victory over the Texas Rangers going into their midweek series against the Chicago White Sox. They were able to maintain their 1.5-game lead over Texas, who are now in third place in the AL West, thanks to this.
