The Duke Blue Devils, led by head coach Jon Scheyer, are fresh off a Final Four run and welcoming the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class. Now, the focus shifts to reloading for another deep March Madness push—this time with hopes of going even further.
To date, Scheyer and his staff have handed out just nine offers in the 2026 cycle, targeting six five-star recruits and three four-stars.
Recently, assistant coach Tyler Thornton was on the road scouting two of the class’s most intriguing names: twin brothers Darius and Adonis Ratliff. Duke appears interested in adding another twin duo after signing five-star fraternal twins Cameron and Cayden Boozer in the previous class.
Darius Ratliff, a 6-foot-11 center, currently ranks as the No. 51 overall prospect and No. 3 player in New York. His twin, Adonis, also standing 6-foot-11, is a power forward ranked No. 61 nationally and No. 5 in the state. Both sit inside the top 15 at their respective positions.
The Ratliff brothers have been drawing increased national attention, picking up offers from powerhouse programs such as Alabama and Texas. In fact, just days after Thornton scouted them, the twins are set to take an official visit with the Crimson Tide this weekend.
Though it’s not certain the brothers will commit to the same school, their rising stock and four-star ratings make them highly sought-after recruits across the country.
Perhaps, if Cameron and Cayden Boozer prove that twin brothers can thrive together at a powerhouse program like Duke, Jon Scheyer and his staff might just convince another set of elite twins to follow in their footsteps.
Up to this point, the Blue Devils have yet to secure a commitment from the 2026 class, but they’ve already hosted seven visits. Among those were five-star prospects Brandon McCoy (point guard), Cameron Williams (power forward), Bryson Howard (small forward), and Jordan Smit (shooting guard).
