Breaking: Big Josh Allen Announcement is Crushing News for Patrick Mahomes

The Buffalo Bills have a lot to be excited about entering into the 2025 season, with newlywed, MVP-winning quarterback Josh Allen returning to lead the squad. Despite the fact that Allen has never played in a championship game, his statistics suggest that he is a superior quarterback than many of his contemporaries.

On Thursday, June 26, Allen was acknowledged for something significant in the NFL that outperformed any of the most recent Super Bowl winners. The Buffalo Bills must be pleased with this news.

Josh Allen is the King in a Certain Area

Football season is fast approaching, and with July around the corner, the Buffalo Bills’ training camp is set to begin soon. For now, the NFL is in a bit of a quiet period—an ideal moment to look back at some key stats from recent seasons.

In 2024, Josh Allen recorded 3,731 passing yards and 28 touchdown passes, while also adding 531 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns—demonstrating his all-around talent and playmaking ability.

Over the past three seasons, Allen has totaled 126 touchdowns. That puts him ahead of many of the league’s top quarterbacks. According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Allen has 21 more touchdowns than Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles. He also surpasses both Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, who are tied in total touchdowns during that span.

Built in Buffalo posted a graphic of these stats on Instagram, captioning it, “Josh Allen is simply a touchdown machine”—a label he continues to live up to, especially when surrounded by a strong offensive unit.

One fan commented, “Just proves our defense was/is the problem,” while another pointed out that Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens—another top AFC quarterback—was noticeably absent from the list.

Buffalo Bills Gear Up for What’s Next

Next up for the Buffalo Bills is their 2025 training camp, set to begin on July 23. The team will hold 11 practice sessions in Rochester, New York, as part of their preparation for the upcoming season. They’ve also confirmed the return of the annual Blue & Red event, which will take place on August 1 at Highmark Stadium.

This year’s camp marks Josh Allen’s first full season working under offensive coordinator Joe Brady. The offense is expected to bring a fresh energy and a new approach—not just a continuation of last year’s playbook.

“You don’t get to pick up where you left off—and we really don’t want to,” Brady told reporters. “Josh understands that. We’re starting from scratch. When we install the first play, it’s as basic as it gets. We have to master the system all over again. If you’re willing to humble yourself and reset, you’ll always find new things to improve.”

Brady also noted, “When you have someone like Josh, an MVP-caliber player, the goal is to keep pushing him. And he embraces it. But each year is its own challenge.”
