The Buffalo Bills enter 2025 with plenty of hope—and much of it rests on the shoulders of their reigning MVP. After a 2024 campaign that saw them fall just shy of a Super Bowl berth, Bills fans, known as Bills Mafia, have good reason to believe this could be the year.
Josh Allen, who was instrumental in last season’s success, played at an elite level, perhaps the best of his career. Thriving under offensive coordinator Joe Brady and the “everybody eats” mentality, Allen reduced turnovers and dominated as a dual-threat quarterback, carving up defenses with confidence.
CBS Sports points to Allen as the primary reason for Buffalo’s optimism heading into the new season, stating, “If we’re discussing reasons for 2025 optimism, quarterbacks are central—and Buffalo has arguably the best in the league.” With a new six-year, $330 million contract inked in March, Allen is locked in as the franchise cornerstone.

As long as he stays healthy—something he’s consistently done—Buffalo is poised to compete for division titles and deep playoff runs. Last season brought them within reach of the Super Bowl, and with No. 17 leading the charge, they feel closer than ever.
With Allen at the helm, the Bills remain perennial contenders. And that alone gives Bills Mafia every reason to believe.
