During his time in Manhattan, Clements was part of several standout teams coached by legendary head coach Bill Snyder. The Wildcats reached five consecutive bowl games while Clements was on the roster, a remarkable achievement that helped elevate the program’s national reputation. As a senior, he earned all-conference honors, capping off a collegiate career that made him a respected figure among teammates and fans alike.

Following the conclusion of his playing career, Clements remained closely connected to the program. He spent nearly a decade working on the Kansas State coaching staff, helping mentor players and contributing to the continued growth of the Wildcats. In 2013, Clements left Manhattan to join the staff of head coach Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State Cowboys football. While with the Cowboys, he frequently faced Kansas State on the opposing sideline, adding another chapter to his long-standing connection with the Wildcats.

Now, Clements is returning to the “Little Apple” to once again wear purple. He will be part of an expanded support staff tasked with helping Klein guide Kansas State football through its first season under his leadership, bringing experience, familiarity, and a deep passion for the program back to Manhattan. 🏈
