Kentucky has landed another addition to its secondary with the commitment of Pitt transfer.
A 6-foot defensive back out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, announced his transfer to Kentucky on Instagram, confirming he’ll suit up for the Wildcats beginning in the 2026 season. A top-star recruit in the 2023 class, Anderson will have two years of eligibility remaining after finishing his redshirt sophomore year.
He redshirted during his first season at Pitt in 2023 and saw limited action in 2024, primarily contributing on special teams. This past season, Anderson split time between wide receiver and safety, finishing the year with two tackles. His versatility gives Kentucky added depth on both sides of the ball.

The Wildcats have focused on bolstering their secondary through the transfer portal, and this cycle has delivered solid reinforcements. Defensive coordinator Jay Bateman has already brought in Florida transfer Jordan Castell and Aaron Gates, while also retaining Ty Bryant, who played a key role in Kentucky’s defense last season.
With Anderson now in the fold, Will Stein’s transfer haul grows to 14 total additions. Kentucky is shaping up to field one of the more experienced and battle-tested secondaries in the SEC next season.
