Auburn has secured a commitment from Ole Miss offensive line transfer TJ Hedrick, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser. The addition further strengthens a transfer class that has steadily grown in both size and balance under first year head coach Alex Golesh. Hedrick becomes the third lineman Auburn has added via the portal, joining Oregon State offensive lineman Jacob Strand and LSU defensive lineman Walter Mathis Jr., bringing the Tigers’ overall transfer haul to 28 players.

Hedrick arrived at Ole Miss as a true freshman in 2025 but did not appear in a game for the Rebels. As a result, he is expected to retain four full seasons of eligibility, making him a developmental piece with long term upside. Coming out of high school, Hedrick was regarded as a consensus three star prospect and drew interest from several SEC programs. He ultimately chose Ole Miss over scholarship offers from Kentucky, Florida, and Mississippi State, highlighting the level of competition Auburn faced in landing his commitment.
