New general manager Mike Borgonzi made a strong first impression with his debut NFL Draft for the Tennessee Titans. After spending 16 years as a key executive with the Kansas City Chiefs, Borgonzi took full control and delivered an impressive haul. Headlining the class is quarterback Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick, but the Titans also found several potential impact players in the middle and late rounds. They wasted no time after the draft either, diving into the undrafted free agent market to pick up promising talents who just missed hearing their names called.
Among those signings, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that the Titans agreed to terms with former Auburn defensive tackle shortly after the 2025 NFL Draft ended. Raikes, who spent his college career at Texas A&M and Auburn, adds depth to an already stout Tennessee defensive front. Over his final three college seasons, he tallied 49 tackles, including eight for loss and 1.5 sacks.

While Raikes might not crack the starting rotation immediately, his path to sticking around could come through special teams contributions. If he shines there, his chances of making the final roster will greatly improve. At the very least, Raikes should be a valuable presence in training camp and a strong candidate for the practice squad.
