On Wednesday, the NFL announced the Bills will be featured in the popular docuseries, meaning Allen, fresh off an MVP season, will be front and center throughout the show. That’s something NFL Network’s Good Morning Football host Kyle Brandt is thrilled about. He believes Hard Knocks featuring a reigning MVP is not only compelling but could reshape the perception of the series. “People always say, ‘Oh no, we don’t want the cameras, it’s a distraction,'” Brandt said. “But have you looked at the quarterbacks they’ve highlighted in past seasons? There’s no curse here.”
Thanks to a rule change this offseason, playoff-caliber teams can now be chosen for Hard Knocks — and the Bills are the first to take the stage under the new format. That means Allen isn’t just leading Buffalo on the field — he’ll also be the face of the franchise for a national audience all summer long.
