Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen might be tying the knot as soon as this weekend. According to a May 27 report from The Associated Press, their wedding is expected to happen over one of the next two weekends. A source familiar with the plans didn’t reveal the exact date, but teammate Dion Dawkins may have unintentionally disclosed it during a live appearance on NFL Network—saying the ceremony is set for Saturday, May 31.
The timing lines up with the Bills’ offseason activities. Organized Team Activities (OTAs) are scheduled for May 27–29, June 2–3, and June 5, with mandatory minicamp beginning June 10.
Allen, 29, and Steinfeld, 28, got engaged in November 2024 during the Bills’ bye week after dating for over a year. In March, a source told Us Weekly that the couple wanted a short engagement. “Hailee is thrilled about the planning, and now that Josh’s season is over, she’s hoping they can finalize more details together,” the insider said.
While Allen has kept a low profile, Steinfeld has had a busy summer, recently starring in the box office hit Sinners. With limited windows for a wedding due to Allen’s NFL schedule, the couple is reportedly locking in details and scouting venues. The event is expected to be intimate yet luxurious.
This aligns with how the couple has handled their relationship—largely out of the public eye. They didn’t make a red carpet appearance together until the NFL Honors in February, months after getting engaged. “Hailee and Josh are both private people,” a source explained. “It took them a while to feel comfortable sharing their relationship more publicly.”

The couple reportedly met at an event in 2023 and later reconnected online. According to insiders, they clicked immediately and knew they were right for each other. “Josh loves Hailee’s humor, and she keeps him grounded. They laugh a lot and share a deep connection. She’s incredibly supportive, and he fell for her fast,” the source said.
