The Buffalo Bills made a roster move ahead of their mandatory minicamp.
The team announced the signing of defensive tackle. Top prospect, 24, was selected in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans (No. 247 overall). He spent just over a month on the Texans’ practice squad before being released, then joined the New England Patriots’ practice squad two days later. The Patriots signed him to a reserve/future contract at the end of his rookie season but released him in late April this year.
Before turning pro, he played two seasons at Kansas (2019–2020) and three at Auburn (2021–2023). He earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2023 after tallying 40 total tackles, including 12 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks.
Listed at 6 feet 2 inches and 298 pounds, Harris joins a Bills roster already rich in defensive tackle talent, featuring players like Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, T.J. Sanders, Deone Walker, DeWayne Carter, Larry Ogunjobi, Zion Logue, and Casey Rogers.

To make space for Harris, Buffalo released defensive tackle Devin Brandt-Epps, who was signed after the 2025 NFL Draft. Brandt-Epps played three seasons at Old Dominion, one at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, and one at New Mexico.
