BREAKING NEWS: Eagles Confirms Reunion With Veteran From 2023 Super Bowl Run

The Philadelphia Eagles boast one of the NFL’s most talented offenses, even if that hasn’t always been evident under new offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. The issue hasn’t been the roster. Still, GM Howie Roseman continues searching for ways to upgrade, especially with players who can contribute in multiple areas. That’s why it isn’t shocking that, according to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the team recently worked out Zach Pascal.

Eagles Bring In Former WR Zach Pascal for a Workout

Pascal already has strong ties to head coach Nick Sirianni. He played for Sirianni in Indianapolis and later served as a rotational receiver during the Eagles’ 2022 Super Bowl run. The former undrafted wideout from Old Dominion appeared in all 17 games that year, making his mark primarily on special teams and as a tough, physical blocker. He also added 15 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown.

After leaving Philadelphia, Pascal spent two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He hasn’t played since 2024 and owns career totals of 169 receptions, 2,057 yards, and 16 touchdowns across 112 games. He joined the Giants earlier this year but didn’t make their final roster and has been a free agent since.

While Philadelphia already features stars DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown, along with Jahan Dotson as a strong third option, depth is always valuable. Pascal also returned 26 kickoffs for 597 yards last season, giving him added special-teams appeal.

The Eagles’ offense has faced criticism this year. Losing former offensive coordinator Kellen Moore has hurt the unit’s creativity and explosiveness, and some believe Jalen Hurts has taken a step back. Reuniting with Pascal could help both on the field and in the locker room. With ongoing discussions surrounding A.J. Brown and the offense’s chemistry, his veteran presence could matter just as much as his production. As the Eagles push for another championship, they can’t ignore any chance to improve.
