On offense, the Wildcats picked up Tanner Morley, a massive 6-foot-7, 325-pound offensive lineman who started his college career at Colorado State and saw consistent action at left tackle. New head coach Collin Klein likely enjoyed bringing in a player from his home state, as Morley hails from Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Later in the day, K-State added another offensive lineman in Delvin Morris from Akron, who chose the Wildcats over offers and interest from NC State, Kentucky, and UCF.

Defensively, Kansas State secured a commitment from Ja’Son Prevard, a 6-foot-2, 199-pound junior defensive back transferring from Virginia. Prevard recorded 24 tackles and three interceptions last season and will have an immediate chance to compete for a starting role after the Wildcats saw multiple defenders depart via the portal.
