UC Davis senior has become the sixth player to join LSU program through the transfer portal, a source within the program confirmed.
The 6-foot-7, 210-pound forward started all 32 games last season, averaging 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. He posted a 58.7% field goal percentage, went 4-for-16 (25%) from beyond the arc, and converted 65.9% of his attempts at the rim, according to BarTorvik.
In his final game with UC Davis, Tamba scored 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting and grabbed four rebounds in 26 minutes.
The 21-year-old, originally from Málaga, Spain, spent two seasons at UC Davis (15-17 record), having previously played at Idaho State and Indian River State College in Florida. He also represented Spain in the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championship.

Tamba marks the first portal addition since LSU named Ronald Dupree as general manager on April 17.
