Breaking News: Missouri Tigers Drop a Signing Day Bombshell Adding 4 Top Talented Stars To Roster

Mizzou football is adding more firepower to its 2026 recruiting class. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz announced on Wednesday that four standout players have signed scholarship agreements, pushing the Tigers’ incoming class to 23 athletes — 22 from high school and one junior college transfer.

The newest additions feature a mix of speed, strength, and big-play potential. Defensive lineman Jocques Felix from St. Louis’ Cardinal Ritter brings a relentless pass-rushing presence, while Liberty North’s cornerback Trashundon Neal adds lockdown coverage in the secondary. Meanwhile, high school teammates Karsten Fiene and Preston Hatfield from Lee’s Summit give the Tigers explosive options at wide receiver and running back.

Felix, a three-star lineman, racked up 106 tackles and 12 sacks as a senior, earning All-Metro honors and second-team 5A All-State recognition. Originally committed to Iowa State, Felix flipped to Mizzou, choosing the Tigers over Kansas State and Michigan State. Neal, also a three-star, is a playmaker on both sides of the ball. A finalist for the prestigious Andre Maloney Award in the Kansas City area, he recorded 37 tackles, an interception, and four pass breakups last season — plus impressive offensive stats as a junior.

Fiene and Hatfield were key contributors to Lee’s Summit’s 2025 Missouri 6A State Championship. Fiene, a versatile three-star receiver, amassed 1,586 all-purpose yards and 22 touchdowns while also making 60 tackles and scoring a defensive touchdown. Hatfield, who overcame a fractured leg early in the season, set a State Championship Game record with 457 rushing yards and four touchdowns, finishing the year with 1,662 rushing yards and 18 TDs. Both bring dynamic athleticism, with Hatfield even excelling in track and field.
