The Auburn Tigers reached the Final Four of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, but their run came to an end with a loss to Florida. The Gators would later defeat Houston to claim the national championship.
Following that defeat, there’s been plenty of movement within Auburn’s coaching staff—some departures and some significant additions. Regardless, the Tigers are focused on building a roster that can compete at the top of the highly competitive SEC.
Auburn has landed one of the top players in the transfer portal. Keyshawn Hall shared a brief message directed at his new coach: “BP.” He later explained, “They said choose wisely, that’s why I was chosen,” referring to Auburn’s 65-year-old head coach Bruce Pearl, who successfully brought Hall into a strong incoming class.

Hall played the 2024–25 season with UCF, where he led the Big 12 with averages of 18.8 points and 7.1 rebounds across 33 games. The 6-foot-7 forward from Cleveland made headlines with 23 points in UCF’s opening-round win over Utah and followed it up with a 25-point, 44-minute performance in a second-round loss to Kansas. However, he did not appear in UCF’s postseason tournament games.
Looking ahead to the fall, Auburn may feature five new starters, with Hall potentially leading the charge. Also joining the team are KeShawn Murphy, a forward from Mississippi State, and Kevin Overton from Texas Tech.
