Nick Shook of NFL.com has identified the Las Vegas Raiders as a top contender to trade for Miami Dolphins star cornerback, who is signed to a $72.3 million deal.
“To shift the momentum defensively, acquiring a big-name player would be an ideal move,” Shook noted. “He’d be a great fit in Silver and Black, bringing credibility and a physical edge to a secondary that needs it. With $42.3 million in cap space — the second-most in the league, according to Over The Cap — the Raiders are well-positioned financially to make it happen.”

Ramsey had a strong 2024 season with Miami, appearing in all 17 games and posting 60 total tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and 11 pass breakups. He remains a top-tier corner capable of anchoring a defense.
Bringing in a player of his caliber would be a major upgrade for a Raiders secondary in need of help, and could push them closer to serious playoff contention. If he becomes available, Las Vegas should make a strong push to acquire him.
