Auburn, a latecomer in the recruitment of four-star quarterback, successfully flipped his commitment from Penn State to the Tigers.
He shared the news on social media and with recruiting outlets, stating that he is now committed to Auburn. He originally decommitted from Virginia Tech in November 2024 before committing to Penn State in April.
A rising senior at Nazareth (Pa.) Academy High School, announced on June 2 via social media that he had received an offer from Auburn, despite not having made an official or unofficial visit to the campus.
“Auburn is a place rich in tradition,” Falzone told 247Sports. “My family and I have spent a lot of time talking about the school and its combination of top-tier football and strong academics. It truly has everything. I’m grateful for the opportunity to play at a university where faith and family are deeply rooted in both the school and the surrounding community. That means a lot to us. I can’t wait to get there. War Eagle.”
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Peyton Falzone is rated as the No. 246 overall prospect in the country, the No. 18 quarterback, and the No. 6 player in Pennsylvania for the Class of 2026.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 200 pounds, Falzone had an impressive junior season in 2024, throwing for 2,135 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just four interceptions, while also rushing 78 times for 697 yards and eight scores. During his sophomore year in 2023, he recorded 2,528 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, four interceptions, and added 440 rushing yards with 11 touchdowns on the ground.
In addition to Auburn, he holds offers from several major programs including Iowa, Utah, Syracuse, Rutgers, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Virginia Tech, among others.
