With the excitement of March Madness settling down, Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl has scored a major roster win.
A transfer from UCF, has officially withdrawn from the NBA draft process and committed to playing for the Tigers in the 2025–26 season.
The 6-foot-7 guard/forward made a name for himself in the 2024–25 campaign, averaging 18.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for the Knights. His standout performance earned him Second-Team All-Big 12 honors as well as a spot on the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team.
His reliable scoring, defensive flexibility, and ability to create plays—evidenced by his 2.4 assists per game—made him one of the most coveted players in the transfer portal nationwide.
CBS Sports insider Jon Rothstein shared the news of Hall’s withdrawal from the NBA Draft on Tuesday through a post on X. The timing of Hall’s commitment couldn’t be more ideal for Auburn.
The Tigers wrapped up the 2024-25 season with an impressive 32-6 record, capturing the SEC regular-season title with a 15-3 conference finish and making their second-ever Final Four appearance under Bruce Pearl.
Their memorable run came to an end in the national semifinals, where they fell in a closely contested 79-73 battle against Florida.
Pearl now adds a dynamic wing to the roster—one who can space the floor and guard various positions—filling a crucial void left by the exit of Auburn’s core contributors from last season.
Johni Broome, Tahaad Pettiford, Chad Baker-Mazara, Miles Kelly, Denver Jones, and Dylan Cardwell are all either graduating, transferring, or heading to the NBA.
As Auburn shifts its attention from internal departures to transfer portal additions, Hall’s decision to join the Tigers underscores Bruce Pearl’s determination to keep the program on a championship-contending path for the 2025-26 season.
