The incoming Duke basketball freshman class no longer includes a top-two prospect.
The power forward from Columbus High School in Florida, was previously ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the 247Sports 2025 Composite. As of October, Boozer, a 6-foot-9, 245-pound five-star recruit and the son of 2001 Blue Devil national champion Carlos Boozer, was at the top of the rankings. However, his position has dropped slightly.
On Monday, On3 ranked Boozer No.4 overall in its final 2025 rankings, which contributed to a dip in his composite ranking. Now, when considering the major recruiting sites, Boozer sits at No. 3, just behind Kansas signee Darryn Peterson and BYU’s top 2025 recruit, AJ Dybantsa.

Cameron Boozer leads a strong 2025 Duke recruiting class, which also includes his twin brother Cayden Boozer, a five-star point guard, and five-star combo forward Nikolas Khamenia. This group was previously ranked No. 1 nationally before Shelton Henderson, a former Duke commit, flipped his decision to Miami earlier this month.
As a result, Duke now ranks No. 3 in the 2025 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports.
