With four post-draft additions, the Philadelphia Phillies bolstered their minor league system with additional pitching and power.
Baseball America and other sites report that the Philadelphia Phillies signed four players on Tuesday after the draft.
Ohio State infielder Tyler Pettorini and Dallas Baptist outfielder Nate Humphreys were signed by the Phillies.
Two right-handers, Keegan Batka of Davenport, Michigan, and Peyton Havard of Lamar, are also pitchers for the Phillies.
In his last season at DBU, Humphreys won a ton of honors. He was named the Conference USA defensive player of the year, the ABCA first team central all-region, the ABCA second team all-American, and the first team all-Conference USA.
He hit a career-high.353/.457/.679 with 18 doubles, 17 home runs, and 69 RBI the previous season. In addition, he stole 21 bases.
After four years at DBU, he finished in the top 10 in over ten categories, including second in stolen bases (58) and stolen base attempts (68), third in walks (122), sixth in home runs (39) and runs (180), seventh in at-bats (781), eighth in RBI (163) and total bases (400), ninth in doubles (49), and tenth in hits (226).
Ohio State also announced Pettorini’s signing. The left-handed batter led the Buckeyes in 2025 with a.324 batting average, 72 hits, and 10 home runs, which tied him for the team lead. In addition to his 40 runs, he had 13 stolen bases, 45 RBIs, and 15 doubles.
He batted throughout his career. 299 with 214 hits, 38 doubles, 10 triples, 23 home runs, 139 RBIs, 33 stolen bases, and 123 runs scored.

Batka excelled with Division II Davenport. He started 13 games and finished 8-1 with a 3.09 ERA. He pitched two shutouts and three complete games. In 84.1 innings, he walked 20 and struck out 91. He only let batters hit.213 off of him. Central Michigan was where he played baseball for his first two years of college.

After ranking third in the SLC in ERA, sixth in opposition batting average (.220), third in strikeouts, tied for third in wins, and fifth in saves, Havard was selected to the second team all-Southland Conference.
He pitched 62.2 innings and finished the season 7-2 with a 2.73 ERA. He made five saves as well. He walked 15 and struck out 79.
