Super Upgrade: Georgia Confirms Another Stunning Addition From Transfer Portal

Georgia’s offensive line received a significant upgrade with the commitment of UCF transfer. for the 2025 season. Top star shared with On3 this morning that he plans to join Kirby Smart’s team this fall.

At 6-foot-2 and 300 pounds, the interior lineman will have four years of eligibility remaining when he arrives in Athens. After spending one season at UCF, he chose to return to his home state and play for Georgia. The Loganville, Ga., native will help fill the void left by offensive lineman Marques Easley, who recently opted to transfer.

His addition marks Georgia’s fourth commitment during the spring transfer window, and he’s eager to start his college career after redshirting last season with UCF.

A former 4-star recruit, Flynn was ranked as the 68th-best interior offensive lineman in the spring transfer portal by 247Sports.

Coming out of high school in Georgia, Flynn was highly sought after as one of the top offensive linemen in the nation. He was ranked as the No. 23 interior offensive lineman and the No. 38 overall recruit from Georgia in the 2024 recruiting cycle.

Flynn spent his true freshman season at UCF developing as the third-string center. However, after being placed in the same role this spring, he decided to enter the transfer portal in search of more playing time, which he might find at his home-state powerhouse program.
