His addition comes after a weekend visit to Lincoln, where he impressed the coaching staff with his skills and potential. Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 185 pounds, he honed his craft at Prokick Australia, a renowned program that has produced several successful college and NFL punters, including Chicago Bears’ Tory Taylor. His training emphasizes the rugby-style punt, which allows for greater directional control and adaptability on the field.
Head coach Matt Rhule has expressed enthusiasm for incorporating rugby-style punting into the team’s strategy, noting its effectiveness in college football due to different rules compared to the NFL.
