After topping the NFL with 11 interceptions in 2021, Dallas Cowboys cornerback has seen his career take a hit due to recurring knee injuries.
With George Pickens now in the fold, the Cowboys have added a reliable pass-catcher. But a new video shows they’re also getting contributions from someone skilled at defending the pass.

Trevon Diggs, the former All-Pro who has missed significant time over the past two seasons with knee issues, is joining the growing wave of athletes sharing their stories through personal media. On Monday night, Diggs revealed he is the focus of a new YouTube series that chronicles his recovery from a torn ACL suffered early in the 2023 season.
Diggs, who led the league with 11 picks in 2021, has managed just six interceptions since then. He played in 11 games last season before re-injuring the same knee and undergoing surgery in January. The team expects him to be ready for training camp in July.
“My ACL rehab journey was very successful,” Diggs wrote. “I returned to the field two months earlier than expected. Follow along as I share how I made that possible! Grateful to everyone who helped me get back. Episode 1 is now live on YouTube!”
The trailer features footage of Diggs training with his performance coach, Myron Flowers. His rehab approach—often conducted away from Dallas with a personal team—caused some frustration within the Cowboys organization.
“We’ve got a solid estimate for when he’ll be back,” said team owner Jerry Jones. “He’s putting in the work, which is crucial. The harder he works during rehab, the sooner and stronger his return will be. If he slacks, he’s more prone to re-injury. He’s learned that already.”
