That situation has prompted Juventus to explore the market for alternatives, with the Crystal Palace defender’s name now reaching sporting director Ricky Massara.
Mitchell’s representatives at ROOF are reportedly working on finding a new club for the player. Juventus are interested in the possibility and are assessing whether to make a move.
The Bianconeri are particularly attracted by the prospect of signing him as a free agent. However, they are also aware that they could face competition from clubs in England.
As a result, Juventus could look to secure his services for a relatively low cost in January.
Eagles need to hurry
