BREAKING NEWS: Mets Lock In Shocking Juan Soto Decision

The New York Mets will open a series against the Miami Marlins  at loanDepot Park in Florida, coming off a narrow 2–1 win over the Washington Nationals.

In that victory, Juan Soto contributed with a walk, a stolen base, and a strikeout. He also recently made history by becoming the fastest player in MLB history to reach 250 home runs, 100 stolen bases, and 900 walks, doing so in just 1,131 career games. The previous record was held by Mickey Mantle, who reached the same milestone in 1,257 games.

Over his nine-year MLB career, he has also played for the Washington Nationals, San Diego Padres, and New York Yankees, and won a World Series title in 2019.
