IT’S OFFICIAL!! Auburn lands blue-chip receiver for 2027 class

Auburn’s future just got a little brighter.

The Tigers scored a significant win on the recruiting trail Saturday when talented wide receiver announced his commitment, giving Auburn a high-upside building block for its 2027 class. The Murfreesboro, Tennessee standout made the news public on his Instagram account, officially pledging himself to Auburn and head coach Alex Golesh after weighing several strong options.

Top star chose the Tigers over notable programs like Ole Miss and Indiana, a decision that highlights the momentum Auburn is building as it looks ahead to future recruiting cycles.

At 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, Oduor already fits the mold of a modern SEC wide receiver. He brings an impressive combination of size, strength, and athleticism, and that versatility extends beyond the football field. Oduor is also a standout track and field athlete, competing in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, and the high jump. His recorded 11.02 time in the 100 meters offers a glimpse into the speed that makes him such an intriguing offensive weapon.

On the field, Oduor has proven he can capitalize on his opportunities. As a junior at his previous school, he caught 24 passes for 383 yards and eight touchdowns, consistently flashing big-play ability and a knack for finding the end zone. He transferred to Riverdale High School for his senior season, a move that has only increased interest in his long-term potential as recruiters project his continued development.

That upside is reflected in his recruiting rankings. In the industry-generated 247 Composite, Oduor is rated as a four-star prospect and ranked as the No. 16 player in the state of Tennessee. Nationally, he sits as the 51st-ranked wide receiver in the 2027 class and the No. 411 overall prospect regardless of position.

Oduor is no stranger to the Plains, having visited Auburn last month for the program’s A-Day spring game. That visit clearly left an impression, and now he becomes part of the foundation as Auburn moves into the crucial summer recruiting period.

With Oduor on board, Auburn now holds five known commitments in the 2027 cycle. He is the fourth blue-chip recruit Golesh has landed so far, and his pledge adds to the growing sense that Auburn is building something significant for the future—one explosive, high-upside playmaker at a time.
