MAJOR TRANSFER BOMBSHELL: Key Nottingham Forest Star Collapse Contract Accepts to Join Man United

Since Oliver Glasner’s arrival in the summer, the City Ground club have won just one of their nine competitive games and have dropped down the Premier League table.

This comes of the back of what became a close-fought relegation scrap last season, and if they prove unable to turn their fortunes around, Forest could lose multiple star names.

Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that the key Forest star wants to play at the highest level and has concerns about Forest’s recent performances.

The England international has a number of suitors from across England and in Europe as well and could be lured away by the prospect of playing European football.

Should Nottingham Forest’s struggles continue, Gibbs-White is prepared to consider his options and could place a number of top clubs on alert over his availability.

Could Morgan Gibbs-White leave Nottingham Forest?
Football Insider revealed last month that Gibbs-White is already weighing up his future at Nottingham Forest and could be tempted away as he prepares to receive offers.

Sources say the 26-year-old is desperate to play Champions League football at this stage of his career, and there is concern as to whether the club can match his ambitions.

Given their ongoing struggles in the Premier League this season, there is a feeling that the midfielder is edging ever-closer to a move away from the City Ground.

“Gibbs-White is a top player who will want to be playing at the highest level possible,” Brown told Football Insider.

“He’s played in Europe, he’s played for England, and he will be determined to continue playing at the top level for club and country, and I’m not sure he’ll do that at Forest.

“There will be concerns, especially if they continue the way they’ve started the season, because they were in a relegation battle last year, and if this form continues, that could be the case again.

“Obviously he is committed to Nottingham Forest; he’s an important player there and a key part of their plans, but it might not be so easy to keep hold of him.

“If Forest stays down the bottom end of the Premier League, I expect he will be looking at which clubs could come in for him, whether that’s in England or in Europe.”

Which clubs are interested in Gibbs-White?
Gibbs-White has a number of long-term admirers across European football, who have been keeping tabs on his performances and could lure him away from Nottingham Forest.

Should the midfielder become available next summer, the likes of Man United, Liverpool, and Chelsea could all make moves to lure him away from the City Ground.

Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed last month that Tottenham could reignite their interest in Gibbs-White after failing to convince him of the move previously.

He was a top target for Spurs last summer, but they were unable to get a deal done as Evangelos Marinakis accused them of making illegal contact with his agent.

The 26-year-old signed a new three-year deal at the City Ground following the saga, but there is a growing feeling a move to Tottenham has not been completely ruled out.
