New punishment for Newcastle’s player emerges

There has been much speculation recently about how long Sandro Tonali will be suspended from football if alleged betting violations are verified.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Newcastle ace and his team have agreed to a plea deal with the Italian authorities, which is proof that the player admits his role in the scandal that has engulfed Italian football.

The Newcastle fans let the player know where their allegiances are during a lap of honour following the Magpies’ 4-0 destruction of Crystal Palace over the weekend.

In the short time that the player has been on Tyneside, it is apparent that he has already become a hero for the Toon Army, and a lengthy ban will be devastating.

According to Corriere dello Sport, a one-year suspension with six months of rehabilitation during which ToThough any ban would take him until almost November next year, it’s arguably the most the club and player could’ve asked for under the circumstances.

Tonali’s current challenges include dealing with his illness and maintaining his conditioning during the year he won’t be able to play football.It is possible that Nali will play.
