Fabrizio Romano confirms Milan will soon sign talented striker with 20 goals and five assists in 24 games

According to a source, AC Milan are ‘confident’ that they will win the Europe-wide competition to sign striker Matija Popovi on a free transfer from Partizan Belgrade.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing column for CaughtOffside, Milan are in advanced talks to sign Partizan’s 17-year-old Serbian sensation Popovi.

He would be a free agent in January because his present contract expires at the end of the current calendar year, and a renewal does not appear to be on the horizon with the adolescent eager to try something new.
