According to journalist Michele Criscitiello, AC Milan is keeping a close eye on another Serie A manager who could take over for Stefano Pioli in the future.
According to Sportitalia (via Radio Rossonera), Milan is already looking for the next coach to take over from Pioli if his form does not improve in the next weeks and months.
Thiago Motta of Bologna is the coach in question, and he has done exceptionally well with the Rossoblu, leading them to sixth place in Serie A.
Their most recent victory was a 2-0 victory against Torino at the Stadio Renato dall’Ara. The former Inter and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is being watched by a number of clubs, including Milan.
They are now vying for a European place in Serie A, which would be a fantastic season result. If Motta is poached, it is unlikely to happen.
